You'll need 5 of the 194 bulbs for the gauge cluster. I highly recommend getting the WLED-x5 over the regular ones, unless you want hot spots. If you want to swap out the lights in the door panels and HVAC also, they are 74 bulbs and you'll need four of them (2 for the doors, 2 for HVAC) and again I recommend getting the xHP over the regular ones.

Just PM Brian2006, he can point you in the right direction. Personally I'd never buy a LED kit for our interior from another place than the one he suggested to me. Very nice complete kit & the only bulbs you have to solder is the headlight switch & ASR/TCS. I love mine.

93-96 camaro gauges takes 7 194 LEDs and I have no hot spots using these WLED-x-x LED bulb 120deg..use the NeoWedge Instrument LED bulb 3mm for the headlight switch plug and play..these work best in door handle trim 74-xHP Wedge Base LED Bulb, HVAC 74-x Wedge Base LED bulb and the shift plate auto 74-xHP3 Wedge Base LED bulb. I have all three 74's they sell and this was the best comb for the most unformed light.

Well, just for ***** and giggles I went to pepboys and bought some led 194 bulbs and they won't even turn on in the cluster. I also bought some blue 194 bulbs, they also wouldn't turn on. So it that saying I need LED's with resistors built into them?

super bright LEDs are built in and if they don't light up turn it around and try again..this is what I had to do to mine..

I had to pull the leads up and wrap them around the connectors..

Would I be safe to go ahead and order the WLEDx5 bulbs for the gauge cluster?

these are the ones I used WLED-x-x LED bulb 120deg, there bright and unformed all over, so I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. I would take out the dash and count all of them, I order 5 and really need 7 so it up to you.

so do you need 5 or 7 for the gauge cluster? and do you need 1 or 2 NeoWedge Instrument LED bulbs for the headlight switch?

here is my complete order so far by the way:

4 74-xHP Wedge Base LED Bulb Red 74-RHP $ 9.96
2 NeoWedge Instrument LED bulb Red NEOx-R 3mm NEO3-x $2.58
5 WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb Red WLED-R5 $14.95
Subtotal: $ 27.49
Shipping: $ 5.00 (estimated)
Grand Total: $ 32.49

you need 5. two are for turn signals and it doesn't matter what color bulb you put in there they will still be green.

the 93-96 camaro uses 7 and you only need one neo wedge and 4 #74 unless it's an auto than it takes a #74 to. by the way the 74-xHP Wedge Base LED Bulb sucks in the HVAC..

heres my gauges with 6 LEDS and I have still have white, it took 7 to make it all blue

I have heard LED lights tend to go out quickly. How long have you guys had them?

Thats only the cheap shitty LED's. LED lighting has a far longer lifetime than normal bulbs.

What color bulbs do you firebird owners use. Red or white? The Macewens really dimmed my cluster.
