Anyone have GM ZO6 rims on their Z?
Not those chrome knock off's, I am talking about genuine GM ZO6 rims. WIll they fit on a Z28 and do you have pics of them on a Z28 or SS?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The GM Z06 wheels are made by Speedline in Italy. I put set of them on my SS a couple of weeks ago. I bought the rims from a Z06 owner.
I put 295/35-18 tires on the rear and I had to do a little banging to the inner fenderwall. Not much but it does take a little time (and a small $10 sledge hammer). The wheels barely touched the inner fenderwall on hard turns or big bumps. So if I had gotten 275 tires I dont think I would have had to do any banging at all.
The rims are very light. I dont have pics of mine yet but here's the link to the badass ZL1 with them:

After I saw those pics I had to have them

Hey guys, on a side note. . .
I was looking for paint similar to the ZO6 wheel color, and I think I found something very close.
Duplicolor Wheel paint -> Graphite.
If owned an 2000+ SS, I would paint my wheels this color before buying ANY new wheels out there.
The ZL1 camaro looks awesome.
Check out www.corvetteforum.com for Z06 wheels for sale.

gm wheels are forged, were the knockoffs are cast. forged wheels are stronger and lighter, but more expensive to manufacture
