First Time Judging Car Show - Advice Please
The company I work for is sponsoring a car show in a few weeks and today I was asked to be a judge. I was orginally going to enter my cars, but I thought this would be a great opportunity since not many people get the chance.
I have been doing car shows for a while and know what it's like to have terrible judges, so I want everyone's opinions on what they think the judges should look for/at. What are some of the biggest "mistakes" judges make?
TIA.

Yes, judge the cars based on:
Quality of the workmanship
Does the car "flow"?
Does it look like it had a plan?
IS IT CLEAN!
Details, Details, Details
When we used to judge the lower part of the car (middle of door down) got more points than the top since EVERYONE spends a lot of time on the obvious areas. Look for the preson that put the most effort into working on their car. Winning a show should be based on who wants it more. Who is willing to go the extra step. Its not about flash and fluff, its about substance.
Oh, and put aside predudices.. its hard but sometimes the better car is not going to be one that you particuarly like. Good Luck

Yeah, don't let "the home town old fart, club president, who is sponsoring the show" win if his car truly does not deserve it. I hate that ****.
