Re: PIcs of installed intake manifold I painted I like it, but I think you need to paint the valve covers red too, that would carry the look through the whole bay. Instead of just one part being painted. BTW, how much do you think a body shop would charge to paint it and what prepping is necessary? Thanks!

Yeah but not everyone wants it red either, you could have just done it gloss black if you just wanted a "cleaner" look.

Re: PIcs of installed intake manifold I painted I used some German primer, paint and clearcoat.. Any good paint, such as duplicolor, would work well.. Just sand it down, primer it, paint it, and clear coat it.. I've been messing around with paint for a few years, so it's really starting to pay off. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
