Default Anyone polish their exhaust pipes?

Maybe Im just crazy, but I thought it would be a great idea to polish the exhaust pipes on a stainless steel kit. I know of one guy that's done it to his corsa catback, but are there any more??

Post them up.

I always keep the muffler and tips polished. It looks terrible if you don't keep it up - especially with the Formula bumper...

My tips are already polished. However the tips back to the muffler aren't. The muffler doesn't look very good, It's black/grey. Idk if it came like that or something.

But I always use some metal/chrome polish on my tips every few weeks to keep them shinin'

Guys-Heres a step by step procedure on how to go about doing this. Please no bitching or crying due to the fact that the car IS a 04 Cobra. Just take a look at the final product. I am ready to do this....

I've always just polished my tips/muffler with polish.

I'm interested to know if I would be able to sand/polish (like the Cobra guy did) to the pipes between the muffler and the tips?

Any ideas?

I think as long as your catback is fully stainless, you can do exactly what the cobra guy did.

I will most likely be doing this on a magnaflow catback in the spring....

I sanded the whole rear of my exhaust, including the ugly black muffler. It's coming along nicely.. It's definitely not gonna be crystal clear/chrome appearance, but it took away the ugly rust-look that aged pipes get.

It's kinda a PITA because it's hard to get comfortable underneath a lowered car. I'm too lazy to jack it up right now
