Default Coil relocation and some other minor engine bling mods!

Installed a clear lid, did the coil relocation mod using the Thunder Racing kit that includes all hardware and custom cut wires, painted the valve covers and did the passanger side wire hide mod (thanks goes to Andy for that idea.)
you can see the bracket for the coils up under the cowl.
Drivers side view.

Looking good Chris. The Black valve covers go well, with your car.

Thanks Andy, it's nowhere near the league of Red but it's alot cleaner and you can actually get to most everything from the top now even the passanger side rear plug!!!

Question - does the coil relocation still allow room for FRC's?

Mark, not without some heavy cutting on the back side of them. I have a set of Carbon Fiber ones that I had on there, I might try to make them work, or just sell them. That is why I decided to paint the valve covers. Hope this helps.

Looks nice Chris. I'd ditch both K&N decals, it would make those inner fenders look even cleaner. Besides, the rednecks around here stick those decals on their dooley windows to let you know of their "high performance mod" lol.

Looks Awesome. I have the TR Relocation kit still in its box. Can't wait to put it all together. Can you post some upclose pics of the brackets and coils and plug wire routing so I can get a rough idea. I read TR install instructions but they are tough to follow after messing with parts cleaning solvent all day
Thanks,
J

I've been thinking about black powder coat on the valve covers. Thanks for giving me a "visual" reference

Since the coils are no longer going to be mounted on the valve covers, have you considered shaving the mounts on them and making them flat and smooth? I saw one person do it on here, looked good.

That is one of the cleanest versions I have seen of the coil pack relocation. Good job!
