Opinions on painted nostrils and vents (pics)

I love the side vents but i'm still iffy on the nostrils. I'm goin for as little black as possible on the outside of the car. What do you think?

I think it looks very good. It looks good either if you match the paint with the car of if you just remove the grills / vents as a whole (gives the car a more exotic look.)

I like 'em. Although the hood ones might look just as good if they were black. Either way they look good! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I like the side, but lose the front grills and get the BG Ram air kit. That will make the front look real smooth.

Awww, so y'all mean I should've left mine black??? ( Black car, BTW)
I happen to think they look very nice painted silver, and recieve many compliments on them.
I've had several folks ask me where to buy them even.
Oh well, back to the subject, I agree, the Silver on Silver looks AWESOME, I wouldn't change it for anything!

I looks very nice.. very clean <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I like when they are painted silver (on any color car).. its when they are painted red, yellow and such that isnt my thing..
the silver on silver looks especially good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Thanks for the opinions. I'm gonna keep the hood ones silver but paint in the filled areas around the mounting screws. Last night my car was sitting in a store parking lot with a light shining down on the nostrils and they are a metallic silver like the car and it looked mean when they 'lit up'. I like it.

Looks great! How did you get the fender vents out? I was contemplating removing the inner fender well to get to mine. I'm hoping you have an easier way! Thanks.

Helps if you have small arms..which i don't. It's held on by little tabs that you just pull up or push down on and it pops out. Once you have the top one off you can actually reach through the top vent and get the second one easily. I painted about 5 coats of metallic silver and about 3 coats of clearcoat on it.
