Default Questions about boost and fuel pressure gauges.

So, my blower install is going, slowly I decided to start with my gauges, get some interior stuff done first.

I had a few problems and could use some help.

The gauges are in and wired, they look awesome, autometer cobalts in a dual pillar pod but...

That polyester tubing for the boost gauge is terrible. It's like weed wacker line almost, or worse. I ended up breaking it, so where can I get more, and what else could be used that is easier to route instead of that?

Also, how does the fuel presssure sending unit connect to the schrader valve? I guess I need another fitting or something?

Thanks in advance for any help.

John

Just do a search for plastic vacuum line.. You may need a brass fitting (like the brass fitting on a copper water line) to make the seal.

i used a steel braided hose for my fuel sender. (the hose screwed right on the schrader valve)

BUT i did need a fitting that screwed to the sender unit/braded hose...
