Seat Foam Does anyone know if its possible and not too hard to switch the seat foam from the bottom of the drivers seat with the pass seat? |
You'd have to take the seat apart and remove the leather. Its really not too hard, just a bit time consuming. A quick fix that I've seen some people do is to just lay a few plexi glass stripes across the metal bars. This way the foam doesn't sink. |
Yes the foam is interchangeable. As for covering the wires, I didn't want a solid solution because I wanted to maintain flex. Instead of plexi, I used wire screen mesh and wrapped that and the wires with aluminum tape. So now the wires and mesh are one big flexible plate. |

Seat My Driver left wing(the part that comes up by your leg is really flattish??? So I was thinking about switching the foams. The wire slash tape sounds like something I would want to do at the same time. thanks Ed |
