west coast dealer is whoring the ss name i was searching on ebay and i came across a dealer on the west coast who is putting rksport ground effects and rksport ss hoods on ALL of their camaros. There are one or two that have authentic ss hoods that i can tell. But cmon, they all have stripes and ground effects, all the trans ams have differant stripes also. WHY MAKE IT WHAT ITS NOT!?!?!?!:engarde: http://www.camarokingla.com/index.html |
some of them look really good, others are horrible. they messed up on the 2000 SS that was yellow and black. they put on the cheap AVS covers and couldnt take 2 seconds to erase the logo. they look good, i have them on my TA, but the logo makes the whole car look cheap |
who cares |
I don't see the problem, 90% of the guys on this site do the SAME thing minus the emblems. I think most of them looked nice. |
They do play a lot of names like right now theyre advertising a Smokey and the Bandit edition. And they make it sound factory. Of course any of us would recognize it for what it is, but its still false advertisment in a way. They should say Black on black ws6 with custom decals and rims, not make it sound like its a specail edition. The rims look good on that particular car, but i hate those freaking checkered flag stripes and all those poor bastards get them. Its like checkered stripe and vette rim overload in there! Too much of a good thing is just too much! |

I see your point, but we're not trying to sell our cars as something they aren't. If people want to make their Z28 a fake SS, i say go for it!! But if you decide to sell it, dont tell potential buyers that its an SS. |
I hate to say it, but I like what they've done. Almost all of the stuff is stuff that's in the appearance sticky on this site. They have embroidered headrests, tasteful graphics, although not my style, and nice rims. At least someone is taking an interest in the 4th gens and representing what they could look like. |
I don't mind what he's done, but I'm laughing hysterically at the prices...HAHAHA. |

Leave Britney alone!! (wtf that "Ceta" T/A didn't have the side stripes.) |
hell id love to have his setup |
The seats in the Trans Am's are insane. I want mine done like that. |
I think it's cool. Those cars are being saved from being junked or just going to waste. I'd definiately buy one if I needed my car replaced. |
Did anyone see the their "Bandit" 02 Trans-Am they had on eBay. I don't know if its still on there or not, but it looked really good IMO. |
Well atleast the ppl who buy these car's, get a really nice looking car even if there not a True SS/WS6 or a "Real" Limited/Collector's Edition model. All that's left on those car's is to mod them. |
I couldn't look for too long because of that shit song playing on the webpage. |
You can always tell if they are real SS's or WS6's are not, if they aren't and you don't want one, don't by one. But I like what they have done with many of those car, yeah the prices are up there but I kinda like it. Although I don't like when people try to play Z's off as SS's when they are selling them. |
I don't agree with the fake WS6/SS thing they have going on, but the cars all look to be very tastefully modified. I especially like the Bandit TA and the interiors in the Camaros. |
The cars don't look bad. I'm not a real fan of red seats though. And they could use a spell checker. |
