Ok now, don't go putting peanut butter all over your car! It's not the butter, it's the peanut. More specifically, the peanut oil. I used to work in a rod shop. All we did was restore hot rods and I'll tell you, peanut oil will do wonders for anything. Chrome, plastic, paint... doesn't matter just don't use it on anything you wouldn't want to hose off. It's also good for the glue left from old bumper stickers and such.
