Default New Pictures of Z28

Still need to get the hood painted, but everything else is pretty much done. Just spend a few months slowing installing my stereo system, Viper 5900 Alarm with 530T window control module, 125sqft of RaamMat, 80sqft of Ensolite closed cell foam, and DMH electric cutout.

I think I've seen your car around before. Where in the Bay Area are you from?

yeah, the passenger side one is dead on but the drivers side is a little off. I picked up a SLP Y pipe for really cheap so when I have the exhaust shop install it I will have them straighten the tip.

San Jose...I usually only drive my car to and from work which is basically up and down San Tomas Expressway.

I don't really care for those exhaust tips, just my tastes though, but I do like everything else. Very clean and well put together. The interior is nice, the switches and guage area are nicely done, and I like the minimalist look with the system in the back too, although I'm sure it still sounds great.

I just started looking at the pics without reading what you wrote. I was so relieved when you said you still had to get the hood painted, haha.

Those tips don't look bad at all. Looks really clean! what is that to the left of the passenger exhaust tip?

I like the exhaust tips too, haven't seen anyone else with them, similar to the stock rectangular ones but chrome and larger. I picked up the magnaflow exhaust used from a guy in Sacramento a few years back and it came with those tips. The guy also had the exhaust shop put a cutout right before the muffler and I just recently added a DMH Electric Cutout. I kind of like how you can see it from the back of the car.

And the audio system sounds great, much better than stock and I was trying to keep a clean look but still like how the amplifiers are displayed.

And yes, the hood will get painted soon, probably in the early spring, I'm just glad I have a black car so it doesn't look too out of place. I still need to open up the holes in the hood hinges a bit to perfect the hood fitment, but I was surprised how well it fit without modification.

Awesome car, I love everything about it! Lowered stance, exhaust tips, overlays, rims, hood, spoiler, grill, everything. It all looks great, comes together nicely. Very tastefully done.

How do you like that head unit? It looks sweet. I had an Alpine CDA-9853 in one of my old cars and it was a really nice head unit, and I'm thinking about going with Alpine again once I ditch the factory cd player in my Z28.

Its a very nice head unit (and can be had for under $200, with Ipod cable) and one of the main reasons I got it is because of all the HUs I looked at (pioneer, clarion, kenwood, etc.) the alpine units look very nice in our interiors. They don't look old/dated and like I've said in other threads, doesn't look like it belongs in a spaceship.

lookin good. i assume that's an OEM SS spoiler? the fitment looks great. I'll be ordering the sunoco (sans line) very soon. working more on the "go" factor right now. I vote different badges. GM really F'd us over on those.
i went with the old school look, and i love it. There are some pretty sweet ones made by fourth circle designs. other than that, i like the car alot!
