New home for the SS's. Pics of my garage! Back in late June I bought new "used" house - I got tired of "townhouse" living and I hated my Daily Driver being outside all the time. So, the house I bought has an attached two car garage, AND an oversized detached two plus car garage, dubbed the'Toy Box' for the SS's to reside in.
Well, FINALLY, encouraged by Mark, we cleaned out the garage, bought and installed new cabinets and countertops, got a fridge for the required refreshments, hung some shelves, cut the remainder of the Race Deck and unpacked all the boxes. Plus hung some required Camaro decor. Now it is a proper home for the SS's
Heres some pics . .
Still not complete, but a far cry better than it was.

Were buying a new house here and a basic place is half a million!.. needless to say no extra garage..
But seriously.. that is looking very cool Andy and I cant wait to see it next year when I come out.. good work but where is blue???

Steve, yes your property may be expensive, but you have to pay for all that sunshine somehow . . :p
Blue, is there, in the last pic you can see the hood stripes just over the roof of Red.
Oh and I'll have chilled beer on hand too
Chris, the tree in the back yard sure has turned a pretty color.
As for the floor tile. It is called "Race Deck" you can find it a www.racedeck.com, unfortunatly rather expensive, nearly $4.00 a SF.

Re: New home for the SS's. Pics of my garage! Looks good Andy! Yea, I helped and prodded him to finish it but there's a subversive intent behind it. Andy has graciously offered up that area in front of his Camaros to be the spot where my Grand Sport will come to life. What a pal! Its a far cry above my garage and it'll be a great place to hang out and build the car. Now, where's the furnace going to be...?

Re: New home for the SS's. Pics of my garage! Thanks, all. Pretty happy with the end result. I do have to finish insulating the roof and conjure up a good heating system.
And yes house prices sure are going up, I was really depressed when my Realtor told me that my price range would get me a "Fixer Upper" - but it came with TWO Garages!
