New Wheels and Whistler Mod - PICS!!!
Thanks to 02SS:ZEUS on here, I've finally got a set of C6's. I was originally looking at chrome wheels, but after some deliberating, I decided on a silver set because I want them to go with my car, not stand out. So I purchased a set from 02SS:ZEUS and they look great! Also, I decided to paint the headlights black like a lot of you on here (peer pressure!). Let me know what you think - it's my first time painting anything and I'm not very good at taking pictures so just give me some ideas on what to improve. Thanks guys!

Yeah I definately should lower it. I figured that would be the first thing that would stick out to people. Where should I go about looking for a kit and how hard is it to do??

Yeah I guess I overdid it a bit there... Now, other than lowering it, what else do you guys think I should do to it? I'm planning on painting the calipers either red or black with red C-A-M-A-R-O inserts. I also had an idea to go along with that if I paint them red - I thought about painting the little indents on the Z28 badges red. You know, the little lines or whatever that go straight through each badge. Just an idea that popped in my head the other day.

Strano springs for your lowering problem......I love the way mine sits, not too low, but a nice aggressive stance.
car looks good, I would do a Berger panel with stainless fill-ins, remove the side molding, smoked clear corner lenses, and a Stull black grille.

Car looks good. I'm more of a fan of the chrome wheels but it still looks good. I agree with everyone else about the lowering. I would fill in the letters in the back with black inserts. Painted calipers would be a good touch as well. I think an SS spoiler would make it look awesome too. Someone recently just made a thread in here with his new SS spoiler on his white Z and it made it look 1000 times better! Or you could try a '97 SS spoiler like me. Maybe some chrome exhaust tips as well?

Yeah, I know I'm gonna go with the 98-02 spoiler, just gotta get some cash first. What is the difference with that spoiler and the 97? Also, turbowhistle86, what do you mean by remove the side molding? Do you know where I could get some pics of that on a white Camaro? Thanks guys.

he is talking about the little piece of molding on your door down near the bottom. a lot of guys take it off their cars. I would go with the black calipers and get some d/s rotors on that puppy too. The diff in the spoilers is the 97 does not have the center supports like the 98-02 does, just a cleaner look some would say. what size are your wheels?

Thanks guys! Now what do you guys think about my idea on painting the little indents or lines on the z28 badges red to go along with red calipers? I've never seen it done before but it was just a little idea I got. Could anyone maybe photoshop this?
Oh and the wheels are 17 x 9.5 btw...
