Default How do I go about painting my stock throttle body?

Thinking of painting it a high gloss black. Do I need high temp paint, should I try to sand the trottle body? Anyone done this? Thanks

I scuffed mine with sand paper, then taped off everything I didn't want paint on (mounting surfaces, coolant tubes, shaft spring, etc), then I put a coat of primer, then a coat of High Gloss Black. I used high temp paint just to be safe.

Have you looked into getting it powdercoated? The powder really looks good and is more durable then paint.
