HALO's???

Anyone hook their halos up to their Fog switch??? Can't figure out how to get my halos working. Bought the car with them unhooked.

its better to run them to there own switch, i got a switch that lights up red and put it where the empty hole was in the switch panel on the radio bezel. Think that if you have them hooked up to your fog lights when you turn on your headlights they will still be on and thus burning out the led a lot faster then turning it off and on when you need them on. Just run the red wire off the halos to the switch, ground the halos to the body which there are two bolts right next to the headlights/Lid that works really well. Then run the power line from the switch to the accessory power outlet under the hood by the fusebox, and ground the switch and your done.

Ok this might help.

Here is the wires for the Halo.

Then here is what I believe is the connector for the Fog Lights. I don't have any that is why I want to hook the Halos to them...

oh well then wire that is lighter or with a white line is obviously the positive, then just ground the halos to the body themselves so then the switch has its own ground also, plus you dont have to use any wire to reach the body if you do it that way.

Don't worry about the LED burning out.. LEDs typically have much longer life than a bulb does.

Here I got it now!

The last two are the ones on the drivers side that are just hangin'. Everything works though???

test the wires and see if they get power.

I'll do that in the morning. That's a good idea...:bang:
