Default What size bolts

I lost my bolts to my 99 ta hood (the bolts to the hood latch).... can someone tell me what size they are so i can go to the store and pick some up... Thanks

i can get a 5/16 fine thread to get started but that is about it

I don't know what size they are but they'll be Metric, not Standard.

M8x1.25 22mm long.

You're talking about the striker, right? It's an insanely common bolt size. GM Pt#11515757. They're a ~$1.50 a piece from the dealer with the proper shoulder.
