What color racing stripes on firehawk should i get?
Ive got a black 99 firehawk, i was thinking about some silver racing stripes down the hood scoops and on the back, should i get some done or leave it how it is?

I would go with silver too, I was thinking about doing that a while ago, something similar to how the 10th anniversary hawk looks like...but I want to see someone do it first...

Black and silver is always a classic look, but one that is also done by a lot of people.
I'd like the Black car with NBM stripes, the darkness of both would make it look almost like a ghost stripe, if such a thing makes sense....
One of the 3rd gen guys here did dark purple stripes on his Black camaro, and it looks pretty cool. Have to do a double take to see 'em....

You gotta ask explicitly what kind of film it is. Cheap film (calendered) is a third the money of the good film, which is always 2-mil premium cast vinyl.
It's hard to justify tripling your cost of goods, but the longevity of the better film is the reason auto makers always use it. Any graphic business that spends all that money for material will be SURE to tell you about it.
BTW Ebay is king of crappy decals. Just sell crappy vinyl dirt cheap and it's pretty when it comes in the mail so you get your positive feedback and move on. Where are they in two years when it's peeling off? Long gone. Do yourself a flavor and buy 3M.
Shoot me an email and I'll show you an interesting Firehawk design.

I was looking at their kit as well, but its a blurry pic, I have yet to see a firehawk w/aftermarket stripes on it, except for the 10th.....maybe the best way to do it is to get them painted on....
Make sure you like the color though......

The graphics I did were for a "Raptor Hood". Please forgive an ignorant Dodge Intrepid owner, but is that a Firehawk copy from an aftermarket vendor? It looks to be the same style and dimensions, but any illumination from the brain trust would be appreciated.

If you do stripes, my suggestions are white or a silver (gunmetal, pewter...something along a silverish line). Dont go w/ red, or yellow or orange or lime green. lol. NOTHING against the ppl that have that, but imo it aint a good look.
