What do you guys think of the SLP Ultra-Z hood for 02 camaros? Do you like em? hate em? Anyone here have a pic of it on a black camaro?

Thanks

I live in Austin, and there is a black, G2 Camaro around here with the Ultra Z hood. Not bad! Personally, I have the SLP H.O. hood for my T/A. Great quality and no fitment probs, unlike some other companys' hoods.

...It doesn't really matter what WE think!

I think it looks tight. I have a black car and I totaly want one. The cheapest I found it was on www.afterthoughtsauto.com Itwas like $670 plus $100 for shipping. It was cheaper than SLP and all those other ones. A good paint place around here quoted me 350-400 for painting. IMO I would leave the red stripes off.

ohhwell i think the stripes are killer!!! to each his own i guess i bought the hood on GP for 600 + about 100 dollars shipping so 700 for the hood the spoiler was 300 and some change shipped....paint was 800 for paint hood/spoiler/decklid /rear bumper/some other little knick nacks and the stripes.....

There is a pic or two in the modification section of my website I am working on.

http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/lig/l/a/lat34sea/

My hood fit really well, but did need quite a bit of surface prep.

I perfer cowl induction hood, because I like to be different, but i think the Z-hood is kind of like billet grills to me, only look good on dark colored cars, Black and NBM. Just my opinion. I will send you a picture I have through email of a black car with the Z-hood and billet grill, I think it looks really good.
