Default 2010 Camaro to Firebird/Trans Am conversion

I know someone else has this idea floating around in their head. Since Pontiac is dead there will be no Trans Am. So i'm wondering who else would like to see this done to a 2010 Camaro. The renderings I have seen look amazing. If anyone is planning to do this I would love to see it.

I'm sure someone will offer some kind of different body parts, but it'll still be a camaro.

Wow. Thats the first conversino that Ive seen that is a legit conversion. It is cool, but I think it looks to much like a mix between a Chrysler 300 and the new Carger.

not feeling that front end, maybe a 77-78 front end would look better

That front end looks stupid! It's too exaggerated IMO. Like a cartoon or something. Definitely needs more styling cues from the late 2nd gen Trans Am.

Take that other T/A link above, use that rear, and the front of the picture posted above, without that hood scoop. All win

This PS was horrible as I did it in 10 minutes, but this is what I mean. This front, and the rear from the link above:

Even if pontiac stayed afloat, the firebird would still be dead.
All we could have hoped for (being in a reasonable price range) is that there would have been a firehawk slp came out with, dressing up a camaro like a bird (as n9neball recommended), but they went with the g8.

which going with the g8 may not have been wise. everyone knew chevrolet would survive over pontiac.

It might get a name change but I'm sure the g8 will be around for a while

With all due respect, wasn't that pretty much the case with our 4th gen T/A's?

I think he was referring to an aftermarket 'kit'. There has been no mention that GM would do it.

Honestly though, if you are already down close to 40k for a Camaro, are you REALLY so in love with Pontiac that you'll drop another...say 5k for a bodykit and paint just so it looks like a Pontiac? There possibly will be a handful of custom showcars that do something like that but I dont know that it would float as a regular product...but I could be wrong.

I am going to bump this back up. I was reading online or a magazine about a company making a Firebird conversion using the 78' style body parts. I tried to google it but didn't find it.

Anyone know what I am talking about?
