So I've been playing with some carbon fiber...
This is my first try at making a upper radiator support for my lt1 car. The mold release method I used didn't work to well but the product came out better than I expected. Once I get a quality mold release I believe I can make a final product. I didn't clean up the ended or anything on this one because I'm going to make another one.

DUDE, you have the funniest signature on this entire website!!
btw, once you get that all finalized start working on some other peices. This would be a great way to start shaving some under-hood weight.

alright I got a real nice mold release in the mail today:
and I went for the final product. I stacked 3 layers of carbon fiber to give it the strength it needs. I'll cross my fingers when I pull the mold tomorrow.
