Wicked, just wicked. How does it handle with that big ass diesel sitting up front? I imagine if you have it geared right you get some stupid good fuel mileage and torque!

now just work on the apperance, ls1 front end conv., sunoco cowl and a ls1 ss spoiler :drool:

I want to know more! HP, torque, mpg, is there even traction? :D

let's just say it doesn't have an ounce of understeer with all that nose weight. did alot of weight reduction (Hvac, ABS, etc)

hmmm...I haven't bought a hood yet, what kind of cost would I be lookin at for an LS1 front conversion? (i have no problem sourcing good used parts)

6.5L Turbo Diesel is rated from the factory with 215 HP, 440lb-ft. I am making slightly more than that :secret2:
30 mpg avg. 60/40 highway/city

it is a very cool idea to put diesel in a camaro, but why on earth did you choose the 6.5L? is there a reason you didnt go with a duramax? even a LB7 with 300hp/500tq would be better than the 6.5L

im sure many of us woulda liked to see the build i never heard of anyone doing this.. i waned to but never actaully did it..
