Out of the closet Bling, Blinger (non 56K)
While I do consider myself a true gearhead [in denial] and left the appearance stock for 3 years, 2003 was a little different.[willing to try something different]. I bought some 18" C5 wheels with Michelin Pilots and from there I couldn't stop with the bling mods [enjoying new found freedom].
New rotors, Painted calipers with decal, new center caps, embroidered head rests, painted door panels, side body molding removed and the coup de grace...a new Raptor hood that is completely non-functional [true bling], but who cares it looks great. Besides I run a FTRA with a SSRA extension for cold air. I spent a lot of time and money to do all of this and it was well worth it [acceptance of new self]. Next project is the engine bay.
I did make about 40 track runs this year [still in denial?] so the car is not a show car or trailer queen. The culmination was driving 290 miles one way, runing a new best of 12.4, taking the t-tops off and driving home.

Very nice! Now make that hood functional! That's my
favorite hood for the bird. And damn, the wheels are bling!
If I ever get wheels, that will probably be what I get.
