Default Average price to get VFN hood prepped/painted

What is a fair price to get a hood painted, assuming only minimal work to get everything straight?

When I got my car, long long ago I was looking (and still am) at the SLP ultra Z hood.
I mentioned it to the dealership and he said around $200 paint/install,
However that might not be the average, cause dealerships usually rip people off... or maybe the nice guy actually offered me a good deal on it!?!

I hope someone gives you a more acurate answer, so I can know too!

If its a good job $200 is a REALLY good price to paint a hood. I've called up a few good bodyshops and they charge around $400.

$200 is a deal from a price standpoint.

$300-400 is more what I see.
