Fuel Rail Covers?
I have a 1998 Camaro and I am looking for some fuel rail covers. The covers don't have to be anything fancy and I would rather not spend $200 for them. I would need to find a place that could get them to me without the 4 week waiting period. I am looking for something that will make the engine compartment look better for the car show coming up in a few weeks.

gmpartsdirect.com sells the factory covers cheap as hell
but i cant find the part numbers for them
someone else will have to chime in on that
but you do have to cut the covers to fit an Fbody

Yep.. cut to fit GM covers is the only option for less than $200.. the fbody concept ones are very nice but cost $$$. People do customize the GM ones but again the cost will be higher.
You need GM covers from a 98 vette.. that way you will already have the two notches for the fuel and emissions hose..
Good luck

Ebay motors...that is the place to get 'em cheap. Just make sure you get the right year. Some will fit, and some won't. You just have to make sure you read the sellers ad before you bid. Good luck.

I believe they were like $55 shipped from GM Parts Direct and it doesnt take much to customize them yourself! If you remove the AIR and EGR, it makes the job a whole lot easier. I think there was only a few minor cuts, nothing big, but you will have to chop almost half of them off if you keep the AIR and EGR. I used epoxy to fill in the CORVETTE, but theres other stuff out there that you can use. Once youve filled it in, sanded it, and repeated maybe once more, you can then use some sandable primer to get rid of all the pits/flaws. I used about 3 coats with wet sanding in between each coat. Then its ready to paint! A couple of coats of color and then a couple of coats of clear and youre all set unless you want to add some decals or whatnot. Very simple, just a little time consuming, but definately doable within a 4 week period. Hope that helps!
