Default What to use to polish & wax black

I have a black 02 Z28 and its coming up on that time to put a polish & wax on it. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should use or even some techniques to prevent swirl marks and so on. Any advise would be great.

Well.. i wont argue that Zaino isnt the ****, cause from what i hear it is.
However, for my car, ive only used Mothers brand polishes, wax, soaps, and rim polish.
In my opinion it is just as good as Zaino, and costs half as much. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I've used both... <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Zaino <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I will give you the fact that mother's aluminum and chrome polish is far superior to anything else though, but for wax/polish, I have found that zaino is better. I guess this is just my opinion though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I used carnauba's for 30 years until I tried zaino, never found any reason to ever switch back. Besides the Zaino, get 100% cotton wash mitts and towels.

I have a black car and use a product called "Liquid Glass". It is a liquid polish that comes in a tin. It is available almost anywhere. My car is a daily driver and this stuff protects, looks good, and lasts a long, long time. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
