New pics include engine covers, and aluminum gas cap
Here are some new pics. One is the Holden Engine Cover. i have had this for a LONG time and think pics of it may have been posted before. I also made some aluminum covers for under the hood. There are pics of them. Also included are pics of the aluminum gas cap. This is VERY difficult to install, and would be a custom job on any car. The best I can tell you is to get a cap from a Mitsubishi Eclipse. I had to shave 1/16th off all the way around and used fender washers behind the fender flange to hold the cap in. Very difficult. Very time consuming. But worth it.

Oh my, it almost looks like a benz motor now. I'm not so sure about the gas fill cover, but to each his own right? Looks clean.

Thanks. Yes, there is a LOT of work into those covers. The Holden is a little overbearing. But, in person, it looks pretty cool. Covers up much of the ugliness. Besides, it is so different at a show, it really sticks out. I hope the covers come across good at shows this year too.

I can see the look you're going for... and I REALLY like it... I like the gas cap alot and the engine cover looks pretty darn cool too.... I think it would better on a pewter or silver car.

Where did you get the engine cover from, and for how much??
Also, would a gas cap from an Eclipse work? Or is that what you did? Kinda reminds me of the Mustang Bullitt's gas cap.. wonder if I could fab that... Hmm....? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can always email me too, at jon@ignitionsyndicate.com if posting here violates some kind of rule. Thanks!!!!

Re: New pics include engine covers, and aluminum gas cap
The gas cap is a Mitsubishi Eclipse one. With a lot of fab work done to it. It took me about 10 hours or so to create and install. grind bumps off back. Shave 1/16" off all the way around. Drill rivets on stock gas cap. And figure out a way to mount it. There is no flange to bolt to. You gotta figure a way out. I used fender washers to hold it on from behind the exsiting flange.
The engine cover is a Holden from Australia. I got it over 2 years ago. A guy from Australia went to a dealership and got me one. It took a LOT of modification to fit. I had to chop it all up. Probably took about 2 full days of trial and error.
I made all the other covers out of andonized aluminum.
