New Gauge Cluster and Overlay Help!? I am getting a new gauge cluster and before i install i am going to put overlays on. when i get the overlays one and put the needles back on if they are wrong will they automatically adjust right when the cluster is put in or will i have mark them?
you need to put them back on correctly. to do this, put in the cluster with the engine at running temp. start it and leave it at idle, and take a picture. then take it apart, put on the overlay, and reinstall it without the needles or the cover. start the engine (let it run to make sure its still at running temp) and put the needles where they belong. then put the cover back on then you are good to go.
