Default SLP Ram Air HO hood, which airbox?

Does anyone know if I can use a WS6 lower airbox with a SLP Ram Air HO hood? I have a non-WS6 99 TA and was wondering if I should order the WS6 lower airbox while waiting for the hood to arrive.

Not sure but in case you have issues with your hood when it arrives..look into Moore Performance. Not many people know of them.I got my hood from them and it's functional without the aftermarket airbox, etc. It was only $695. The guy that did my paint said it was the best fitting and best WS6 style hood he's worked with.

Good choice on the hood!

I *think* you will need to stick w/ the stock lower air box. Underneath the SLP hood is identical to the firehawk hood. The WS6 lower i don't think will clear it. Don't quote me on the but it is not as tall as the WS6 hood. I have the volant and it mates up just fine. If you can get your hands one a lower to try it out i would go for it.

BTW-you should REALLY think about cutting out the baffles too. MAJOR restriction on that hood.
