WTF is this?? Worst representation I've seen

I was looking at the BMW board and I found this...they are making fun of us Firebird owners for putting BMW wheels on a Firebird....can you blame them?
Somebody want to set them straight?

that car is not one to argue our collective taste over...its definitely an ugly car with that wing..

02TransAm/Batmobile Aug 5, 2009 10:30 PM

I don't see them making fun of F-body owners - jus people with bad taste.

01SOMSS! Aug 5, 2009 11:01 PM

yup those cars they posted deserve to be made fun of.

Spd-Kilz Aug 5, 2009 11:16 PM

Anybody who puts a hideous wing, and wheels with the incorrect bolt pattern on their car deserves to get made fun of.

RickyMartinZ28 Aug 6, 2009 02:57 PM

Bolt patterns are the same....

I think it looks ok.... but the wing is awful.

1995blacktattop Aug 6, 2009 03:22 PM

at least it's just a 3.4V6 firebird (maybe a 3.8 but most likely it's a 3.4)

The car with the spoiler on top of the spoiler is just horrible..the rims on the black bird look ok

dave70 Aug 6, 2009 06:30 PM

I like the rims.

ZexGX Aug 6, 2009 08:52 PM

carbonfiberbird needs to post some pics of his car there. It looked pretty bad ass. When his car got totaled, everybody wanted the BMW rims... lol

I was originally looking for BMW rims for my car, since most F-body rims look nasty or cost over $800 each. Then I found a set of Firehawks for $400 and now I'm stuck with 'em for life... LOL

transam5.7lt1 Aug 6, 2009 09:25 PM

I agree, the ones on the black firebird do look good..... the red one..... not so good...

munecorey Aug 6, 2009 10:01 PM

Somebody should open an account and show a bmw with corvette rims! If somebody does open an account i have pics!

Lots of people put BMW rims on their Fbodies. The pattern may not be EXACTLY the same, but it's really, really close and works apparently.

interesting, didn't know that. i might have to steal my brothers m3 and test it out

Those cars look awful and deserve any criticism they get. As far as posting there...why? It's not worth my time (and shouldn't be yours either) to give a damn what they think.

evilZO6 Aug 6, 2009 10:21 PM

BMW bolt patterns the same, i have BMW wheels and have had them for over a year. Find a serious topic of discussion to worry about. Hey guess what? I had OEM ZO6 wheels fall off my car. Anyway, those firebirds there are bad representation! BMW tuner wheels are some of the best in the industry, i usually turn to them for my cars. Nothing wrong with it, just doen right. personally i think those wheels would look putrid on any BMW as well.

chaman Aug 6, 2009 10:26 PM

News flash...the HP Racing Evos are intended for BMW but....guess what crowd got a hold of them?

God I love those rims ^^^
Great car Chaman. Definitely one of my favorite F-bodies on here.

too bad the driver is a tool. Well, maybe tool is the wrong word, a screwdriver is useful.
