Default FINALLY: CME and DE Valance ON SALE AGAIN!!!

OFFICIAL SALE THREAD HERE:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-s...l#post12131753

Repost...

So, the ONE vendor who makes these dissappeared off the face of the planet. I managed to buy back one CME Valance (thanks Jorge and Steve) and ripped my own DE Valance off of my car to be able to have these molded again for you guys and gals.

Now, one thing about the old design I did not like was that it was urethane. It was GREAT for shipping costs (we just bent it up into a small box to mail) but it was bad for:

Blending into the bumper if you wanted to...

Not popping off, changing shape in the sun sometimes...

Dealing with some high horsepower high heat exhaust...

SO, when I went to get these made I went to a local guy who does glass bodies for circle track cars. I told him I wanted something more rigid but easy to work with to fit onto our stock bumpers.

He showed me some stuff they did with glass that makes it more flexible and I was sold.

Production is almost set up (not finished, set up). I had him do some other test pieces for me so I could check his quality and materials and it was superb.

Getting these off the ground on my own costs money but he's going to knock MY costs (for the mold and finished products) way down if I start off with a pre-order of 10.

So, the first PAID 10 orders (10 CME, 10 DE) will get them at a RIDICULOUSLY cheap rate of $350 SHIPPED (shipping on these is looking to be about $80-$100 due to size and weight of packaging material).

I can also offer them PAINTED for an extra $250 if you just don't have anyone local to do it (not the best price to be honest but that is just what I was quoted at the shop I go to for my work, not making a profit on that part of it)...

Just go here for CMEs...

http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...products_id=29

and here for DEs...

http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...roducts_id=103

We should ship the first pieces within two weeks !!!

Look around the site if you need tips as well I put the combo deals back up !

First, I'm happy to see these again. I want a DE valence... but this is too soon, I don't have a job to pay for mods yet!

Second, are these gonna be around for a while now? Because, if so, I can't get in on a buy right now obviously, but if they'll be around in the future then maybe I'll have a chance to get a DE valence later on. Yes/no?

If your getting them re-molded and its possible to change them up a bit??? I'd seriously consider moving the dual exit openings closer to the center....IMO it would appeal to more people...Not having to modify their exhaust to fit it. And i would seriously consider switching back to corsa's

Nah, if I make it so they don't have to modify their exhaust it will look like crap. Factory exhaust is off center so that GM could save money using the same style Z28 tips on both sides.

My openings make it so you just have to modify the driver side (and only slightly). If I moved them in you'd have to modify both sides...

So I have a gmmg exhaust with oval tips, if I get the DE valance would it look right with those tips? Also would line up without any mods done to exhaust? I like how your tips look on there just dont have money for both valance and tips.

They will come in the same "primer black" the others did for people brave (cheap) enough to just throw on and cruise around (like I did ).

I hope to keep them around for awhile this time...

Should be fine. GMMG tips look better than mine! My openings in the valance are 10" so as long as your tip is not wider than that you are fine.

Only mod you have to do is have them centered into the holes. Literally just breaking the hanger weld and then retacking it in place on most setups...

I thought it looked cool. you see all sorts of sports cars with flat black valances on the rear bumper. Plus my car is all blue and black anyway. X4 on getting one in the near future. Once I get my overlays and save up a lil I'll be gettin one. Unless you're still trying to make that body kit...

The valance is the first part of the kit, using it to get the opportunity to get the bumper made
