Thanks Nacho! Can you post up a pic of your gauge cluster, please? I wonder what your needles/gauges look like.

^^ I most def. agree! Let me see what I can do this weekend about getting some pics up. Personally, I'd go with white over clear (as I did in my car). The strip tends to keep the light in the needle, rather than letting it totally disperse. Also note, if you get "white", and you change your bulb color, the needle color would change as well.

Doing the colored needles without the backing looks fine, but the backing is what really makes it pop....however, doing a fancy colored bulb might result in a mixing of colors...... i.e: yellow and blue make green. (haven't looked into it, but i'd assume thats what would happen. I dont have any colored LED's laying around)

I'm trying something new with the blue this weekend, i'll let you all know how it turns out. Hopefullly i'll have pics, too.

The last thing to remember is that if you dont even drive your cars at night, or they are only show cars, trailer queens, "you want to stand out at car shows" or whatever the case, ANY needle would look AWESOME!! They all actually really stand out.

Personally, my faves are the green ones, but everytime I take a pic of them they look shitty. Up close they look like the Monster Energy drink neon green. I think on McNords car they'd look AMAZING!

As anyone ever tried installing two different colors? Like red for the RPMs & MPH and silver for the smaller gauges? Would that be too much, or a nice touch?

I have done it by accident, meaning when I went to install my new 6le needles I broke one like a idiot and to get my car back together so I put 2 old needles back on with all the rest new ones...still like that today in fact. Although, some killer dude by the name of Mike took care of me on that! I'll post pics tonite when i get home, the colors were red and orange...

Just do a V8 swap into that one, lol. Buying a new car just for the overlay seems pricey...

Sounds interesting.... I've got tons of colors here I can try, too.
