Even though I have red decals, I think matte black decals will look killer
and if I didn't just paint my car I would have asked for the painter to do it, but its too late

if you're expecting to get them from there, make sure they have a flat black for sell. if i remember correctly, they only had one black listed, which was a glossy one (what i have). just dont want you to order it and install it just to realize its not the right color. just give them a call, they're really easy to work with and should be able to help you out.

yeah, crimson, I talked to Jay, he said that he can do a special order for matte black. But he didn't have any customer pictures w/ matte black stripes
unfortunately and he also said that if I were to get these checkered pattens on the stripes in matte black it won't feature that airbrush shading that
it normally does it would just be checkered. ...so in simple terms, no waves in the flag, which is fine. I just wanna see if anyone has done this on
ls1tech so I can not spend my money blindly.

Not a bird, but here are some pics of a friend's old SS with 35th stripes.
Sorry it took so long to respond. He got the flat black stripes from 3rdgendecals. You'll need to let them know you want the stripes in matte black (it's not listed as an option). I think there's also the option to have shadowing or not. He went without the shadow.

^yes indeed, they do look great on black cars. i've been throwing the idea around to add some to my camaro.
but i'm thinking about selling it, so i dont want to do anything that may hurt my ability
to sell it. since some people dont like stripes. but damn, seeing that camaro really makes me want to do it anyway.

wait a second......Fourth Circle Designs offers the same decals...for $100 dollars less than Third Gen Decals?
and they already have Flat Black under their color options.........someone please explain this. From what I understand
T.G.D. has high quality thin cut vinyl sheets and supposedly lasts a long time ... does F.C.D's have the same quality?
I looking for some testimonials on this.

not sure of which, or if either is a sponsor, but personally i have had 3 great experiences with 3rdgendecals aka
camarographics .com, so i'm quite fond of them. i too liked the price that 4th circle offered, but when i really looked at
the kit, i didn't really care for it. the spoiler stripes look pretty hideous if you ask me (3rd gens' ends much nicer at the
spoiler, ^like the camaro pics), and i dont like the way the front stops at the nostrils either, the way they fold over into the
grill area. just doesn't look right to me. and the price comparison is not 100% accurate either, since 3rd gen kinda gives you
a nice little package, including all of the overlays you could possibley need, which, i was able to use to spruce up the trunk area,
interior, and the engine bay, and still have a few left over for anything else i choose to do.
im not trying to knock 4th circle at all, especially quality wise, i have no experience with them. i just dont reall care for
their checkered flag kit for the T/A's. if i were to get stripes for the camaro, id be getting them from 4th gen since they
sell bothe the sunoco hood stripes and the sunoco side stripes.

oh wow. that is mighty sick. thanks for clarifying that for me. so if I decide to go all matte black decals I could.
cause now i'm trying to decide if I should keep my red decals that I have all over or replace them all with matte black
.........or just use matte black stripes and red decals everywhere else......and also I don't know if I should order the ttop
package or a hard top package, cause I plan on doing that targa top conversion that 6LE is working on bringing to perfection
(well I could just order the ttop one for now and then purchase the top piece when it comes time to.........................
iuno big decisions big decisions. By the way I find it mad funny how we have to break our own paragraph's sentences due
to one ******** large jpg image hahahaa

^haha i though i was the only one who did the breaks in the lines. i felt knd of dumb doing it, but dont
want people to have to move the page side to side.
dude, i definitely think you should lose the red, and black it all out. that would look soo nice. the thing
is, you'll get to see how it looks with the stripes on with the red bird. if you like it, leave it, if not swap
them out.
the pics of that camaro with the stripes are starting to frustrate me. it's practically
forcing me to go buy a stripe kit for my car.

you're absolutely right man. Now I wanna purchase the kit once I wake up haha. too bad I won't be able to put it on
till the weather warms up again. but matte black decals sounds mean to me, maybe i'll black out my tails,
third brake light, and reverse lights as well or just buy tail light covers, get some matte black deep dish c6 wheels,
and powdercoat my corsa clones black.
