transam5.7lt1 Feb 5, 2010 07:27 PM

Looks way better now! And the rims are a better choice! :)

Breathing Fire Feb 5, 2010 07:29 PM

Ya I never liked the rims. The offset was nice, but they were heavy and not much of a fan of those anyway. Thanks guys.

I didn't think the first one was bad, just looked like it needed the HH in the back to even it out

Looks good tho

crimson_bird Feb 5, 2010 09:11 PM

looks god. i'll probably be going with stranos as well. do yu have any lower pics to show the gaps better?

Breathing Fire Feb 5, 2010 09:41 PM

I only have the one. I'd get more, but I have it outside now on a flat surface for a couple days and it just snowed and I am a wuss when it comes to snow. Anyway here is the front with springs.

Hows the ride with the slp's?

99zee Feb 6, 2010 07:50 AM

Looks nice  I have springs sitting here waiting on the Koni's.

SoxXpupPeT Feb 6, 2010 09:13 AM

much nicer stance. and THANK GOD you got rid of those rims!

1slowfbody Feb 6, 2010 10:09 AM

looks good and i like the new rims better than the previous rims

Detoxx03 Feb 6, 2010 04:38 PM

100 times better!

Breathing Fire Feb 6, 2010 06:23 PM

The ride is great. Much improved over what it had before. The SLP's ride nice. I took the car for a 20 min drive and it was firm, but not harsh over bumps. That said it has a soft ride when you aren't pushing it too. Kinda reminds me of driving a new CTS (non V). It handles great, nice and tight when you need it and not harsh when you don't. Next time I will do the koni's, but not for several years. I had several things I wanted done before it comes out for the summer. I just couldn't get it all done and afford the koni's at the same time. FWIW it will be nice to know the difference between shocks in the future tho. Thanks for the compliments guys. On a side note the whole new setup is very light when compared to the old junk.

I would have definitely kept the other wheels though, way better than the C5's! J/k they were hideous.

You'll love the Strano's!

WS6R6 Feb 6, 2010 06:38 PM
