Thanks man.
well guys, i got my y-pipe, poly trans mount, coolant overflow tank, and poly torque arm bushing in the mail, and three hours later, all installed.
i have my relocation bracket, and billet ps pully on tracking, and they should be here in a couple of days. i'll get those installed within a few hours, and then all that will be left will be oil and coolant, then i can start this beast for the first time. i still need to get brake lines for the front before it'll be on the road again though. stay tuned, this should be interesting.

after nearly 2 months of wait time.(june 5th-july 29th) i finally received my mymachinehead stuff from speed inc. although it took forever, and was quite ridiculous, the products are superior, in quality and fitment, very well put together, and easy to install. only problem being the sway bar, that needs a spacer installed to fit the bracket w/ the sway bar installed.
my machine head threw in a free 5 spoke billet ps. pully, and t-shirt, so that was very nice for the extreme backorder and with many follow ups on the order.
here it is all installed on the car...
should be getting oil and such into the car, and getting it started up for the first time here pretty soon. most likely this weekend.

okay, so i go everything necessary to start car hooked up today. power steering lines hooked up, belt drive, all wiring done, heater core lines hooked up, filled with all necessary fluids, PS, oil, coolant, all everything hooked up. got gas in it, charged the battery, and the car will not crank. it turns over many times, and will keep turning over as long as you hold the key, but it will not actually start up and run. doesn't back fire or anything. just keeps rotating over and over without any sign of even a hesitation with starting.
i checked the coil by removing, and putting it close to metal to see if it would arc, and it arced. so that's working. the fuel pump is audibly priming when car key is turned to on position. i just don't know where to begin to check things as far this goes.
help please....
here's everything put together, and looking good though.

i completely pulled the front down to the opti today, and checked my alignment on the opti to make sure it was on correctly, and there's just no way to actually be certain that it's seated with the oval in the cam dowel or not.. i mean it goes on, and it looks like oval is lined up with the dowel before pushing it on, but other than that it's nearly impossible to see. the opti doesn't exactly sit completely flush with the timing cover bolt holes though, does this mean it's not installed correctly? it's prolly 1/16th in. away from being flush with the bolt holes on the timing cover. the screwing down of the bolts makes it flush though..

so i have spark at the coil, spark at the plugs, and 45psi of fuel pressure at the fuel rail.. the car starts for about 5 seconds with some starter fluid sprayed into the intake, but it's just burning that starter fluid up, so with that in mind, wouldn't that say that the injectors arn't fireing..

brakes are done and bled, and all suspension is greased, so i put the car on the ground.
i'm waiting on my pcm from pcmforless, and hopefully that fixes my issues and i'm able to start it and drive it.
oh yeah, and i have to get spacers made for the sway bar to work with the relocation bracket.
i also got new taillights from a member on here, and got them installed due to getting a ticket for my blacked out tail lights a few days before tearing into the car.
here's a slight wheelie shot with the lights installed.
and clean the **** out of it.

okay, so here's the plan. my pcm will be here on Friday, i got incredibly tired of the upkeep on the valve covers already, so i pulled them off, and they're getting dropped off at the powdercoaters along with the throttle body for chrome powder coat tomorrow. I've gotta head to the machine shop to get spacers made for the sway bar for clearing issues with the relocation bracket, and then hook up the sway bar, valve covers, pcm, and valve covers, and the car will be ready to start the break in period by mid next week. and of course before then I've gotta give it a good detail before it hits the streets.

don't worry. they've already scraped its inevitable.
thanks man, and she's still not finished.
thanks man, i can't wait to put some actual mileage on it.
thanks!
I've actually gotten a few more things taken car of as of lately.
got the exhaust welded up, nice and quiet until the cutout is open.
the car is running and driving, I've yet to have it aligned, so it's way out of whack with that, but that's soon to come. i'm having charging issues with the alternator, I've had it completely rebuilt w/ a new voltage regular, motor, brushes, bearings and all, and i'm getting good connection at both the screw on power from the battery and the regulator plug and 12v's through a multimeter there as well. i think my problem is not getting appropriate ground though and i think it's because of the relocation bracket's powder coat is preventing the alternator from getting appropriate ground. but that should be taken care of within the next few days, and i should be able to put some actual mileage on the motor. so far it's got 12miles on it.
while at the exhaust shop.
some of the motor running, hopefully I'll be able to get a video soon.
and i know it's pretty dirty, I've yet to be able to clean the car like i want to.
soon though, soon. don't worry.

Wow you've put some serious elbow grease into your car! Serious props!
I thought about lowering mine also, but if I did I would have less exhaust clearance than you because of my 3" true duals to turndowns. Oh well..
Your car looks great though!
