I am in the process of repainting my car a different color and want my Calipers to match but I havent seen a high temp. paint color like I want.

Yes, but buy some high temp primer to go underneath, and get some high temp clear coat to go over!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Good luck!

I'd say yes, as long as you're not a major autocross fanatic. The body color paint can withstand pretty high temps. Ever touch a black car at noon in Arizona? HOT!! GM made sure it could withstand extreme temps without blistering. If the paint did fail, you could always repaint them but I have heard of calipers being painted with body colors. The calipers don't get as hot as most people think. It's the rotors that get pretty steamy. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

BTW, my intake manifold is painted with body paint. No problems at all.

Thanks guys,

I am still having a hard time finding a good body shop that will make my car look like it came with this color from the factory. What I am going to try to do is have them save a little paint for my calipers. Good thing I bought 2 sets of those Camaro caliper decals from you Mark. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I painted my calipers the same color as the body but I had to use a high temperature powder paint.
