if you apply a coat of (paste) wax over a previous coat (paste) , does it do anything like bring the shine out more or does it just add another layer of protection?

depends on the color of your car. if your car is a darker color i would go with gold class, NXT leaves my car looking greasy in spots for some reason. Gold class really seems to make the flake in the NBM color pop more than any other product. Right now i use Swirl-X by meguiars or gold class by meguiars. The swirl X actually is a little bit better than gold class, and leaves a deeper finish.

ive found the color of your car really plays a part in the best wax to use for it. i usually buy a different wax product every couple of months just cuz im bored at walmart

for the guys who are lookig for an over the counter product, available locally....i would suggest the megs professional # 26 yellow yech wax.....provides longer protection than the gold class / nxt

also, you can try to locate a local harley dealer....they should sell s100 which is the same thing as P21s

i used clearkote's carnauba moose wax.....and wolfgang's concours paint sealant

"cure" time depends on the product...............i usually leave the wolfgang on for at least on hour....air temp and surface temp play a big role as well

only real way to tell is to remove some of the last step product and see if it smears....if it does then leave it "cure" longer

I have Zaino on one car. I polished out the other and used Natty's Red & Blue.
That stuff is great. Collinite 845 is another awesome product.

I like the durability and look of sealants.
My favorite go to combo is 2 coats of Duragloss TPP (105) to seal after cutting and polishing and topping that with 2 coats of Duragloss CCP (111). Drying with a coat of Aquawax between each wash and then reapplying one coat of 111 about every 7-10 washes.
