Talking I don't think Steve's new motor is that impressive

Compared to this LS6 that I saw at the LA Autoshow.

OK, OK before you get too excited it isn't real. Tried tuning a few of the pullies (I wish they were avaliable) and no dice. It is pretty though in a monochrome way though. Plus the title of the thread made you look.

Ahh yes, the CTS-V powerplant... I wonder if it'll look that good in the car.

All those accessories on that thing make it look like a robot, straight out of the Matrix.

I think it would've been better/more cool if they did cadillac FRCs instead of the entire engine shroud. But i guess they wanted it to look like the other Caddy motors and have the shroud...

Nice pics of the C6, it looks awesome. It is red correct? Looks a little on the orange side of the color spectrum, might be you camera Rob.

That covering of the engine with plastic seems to be the new trend. My wifes new SUV, won't mention the name but it is her's, is completely covered with a plastic cover, yuck. Its not for show though.

I was looking at Steves web site...Steve is the BLINGING MAD MAN .

I can not wait till the car is done.

In this case it's not my cheapo camera. This C6 is a Sunset Orange Metallic or something close enough that I could not tell the difference. When I first saw it I thought it was the lighting since having a red one there seemed natural for them to do.

Now the SRT-10 pickup with Viper motor that was there was red.
