Default Wider rear quarters for a Trans Am

I want to replace the rear quarter panels on the TA with some that extend outward by about an inch. I think if it was done right it would look killer. Of course, they would have to be perfect. Im not talking about flares or anything gaudy.

Something like this is what I had in mind:

In the direction of a widebody, but MUCH more subtle and only the for the rear.

My reasoning for this is to fit a 18x12 wheel. Just an idea I had and wanted to see what it would take to make happen. I plan on contacting the company that made the vette ones, any other ideas?

find a decent shop that does metal fabbing/auto body, and they outta be able to extend your fenders....pretty much just bulge em out, just like that vette
people do it to other cars all the time
