Default Changing Trans Am Gauge Light Color

I think I may have seen this on here before but is there anyway to change the color of the dash lights/gauge lights from the pinkish red to blue or something? Or do you have to swap out to a camaro gauge cluster?

Why not just swap the stock filament bulbs for red SMDs? Then you can say goodbye to the "pinkish red"

EDIT If you want a totally different color then a 6LE overlay is your best bet, although I don't know if they are still selling them.

If I were you I would just change all the filament bulbs to leds. I have a Firebird HVAC display, headlight switch overlay, and shift indicator with all leds and they look great IMO they give off a more of a "truer" red than filaments bulbs can..

there is a red film/tint behind the cluster that makes the numbers red. i believe you just have to remove that, and then you can add whatever color lights you want

I'm not 100% sure about the Firebird overlay, but I remember talking to someone who attempted to remove the blue film from a Camaro overlay and it could not be done. I assume the Firebird one would be the same...

the red filament is a bottom layer of the gauges themselves. you can put lights behind them but the red tint (blue green for camaros) will be there till you get some 6les
