Default Gauge lights dont work after new bulbs?? (pics)

hey guys.. So i got my new 6le gauges in. got some wled6s to replace the factory lights (5 white, 2 green, 1 blue). After plugging them in i get some lights on, but no dimmer, and obviously none of those great lights i just spent a buncha money on.

Here you can see the gauges compared to the steering wheel lights. This is the dimmer all the way up. Only getting brake/ses/etc etc etc lights.

Id really really like to be able to show these overylays off, but with those wled6s and with wled5s AND trying again with the factory lights none of them work. Everything else does, so idk how it could be a fuse.. im hoping you guys know something i dont? (more specifically, what im doing wrong..)

If you have them in backwards they won't light up. But I somehow doubt you've got them all backwards...

haha, right.. this is after switching both types of LEDs 180*.

the connection to the board (from the lights) all look good.. are they all in a circuit?

i do have the foglight controls out, but ive tried plugging them (dimmer/switch/fog) just in case and im sitting with the same results..

Out of curiosity what happens if you put the old bulbs back in? Like just a couple of them.

W-LED6's are non polarity specific . Which means they can be put in any direction and
still light up . Its either a fuse , the bulb holders not making contact on the mother board ,
or the LEDs not making contact inside the bulb holders .

My sockets weren't making a connection with the mother board and the leds were loose in them. I just used a flat head screw driver and basically forced all the little metal or brass prongs so that they made contact with everything....Things have been working flawless since then...

good to know about the polarity on the 6s (another reason theyre cooler than the 5s..)

Old bulbs are doing the same as the new ones.. maybe me clicking these into place just isnt like gm used to do it, ill take both your guys' advice and pull them, wrestle EVERY prong into place to make sure its all good..

Any other ideas?

I bent in all 4 prongs to grab the led, and i bent the 2 prongs in and up so that they connect with the board.

That still didn't do the trick? I hate to repeat what has been posted, but did you check the fuse?

Stupid question but did you check to make sure your dimmer isn't all the way down?

Are you using the factory bulb holders or are you using an aftermarket holder like the ones from superbrightleds ?

fuse is good (and the odo and low oil lights are on, the needles work.. i dont think any of that would if the fuse was outl)

the blues and greens work now, but im getting 0 output from any of the 5 whites.

Just something to try to make sure the bulbs themselves work - pull a side marker off the car and stick the bulb in there (they use 194 bulbs as well), then turn the parking lights on. It should light up.

awesome tip.. i had been wondering if there wasnt another socket i could try. gives me hope to see them all light, but... now what??

all of them look great, and the greens/blue were way brighter than when theyre in the cluster (idk if its the overlay or because the whites arent working or some other random issue).. still not my main concern.

im going back at these terminals to try and bend/pry better connection points. really out of ideas (what are the odds that all of them are losing contact..?)

is it safe to assume that if the gauges get power theres a good enough connection with the pins for the lights to all work?

The cluster is plugged all the way in right? And you did check the fuses? (backlighting of the gauges are a different fuse than the functioning of the gauges themselves).
