2001WS-6's Detail (Reflections Inside)

I must say this car was a absolute pleasure to work on. A very low milage WS.6 from the original owner, Kirt. One of the nicest things is that he is close!

My process is pretty set at this point, when I get into paint correction more then I will have to add more steps.

The reflection shots were insane and I beleive it as the car needed VERY little clay (bumper only) and the swirls were very little.

Process:

Wash- Meguiar's Gold Class
Clay- Mother's Brand
Polish/Glaze- #7 Meg's Show Car Glaze
Wax #1- Meguiar's NXT 2.0
Wax #2- Meguiar's #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax
Booster- Ultimate Quick Wax
Wheels- Wash/Dry
Tires- Armor All Extreme Shine Tire Gel
Leather- Meg's Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner

The rest was a vaccume and cleaning of the HD rubber mats with Purple Power and a brush. Also did the jambs and cleaned the engine bay by hand and his underhood mirrors.

Over all Kirt was extremely impressed and I was very pleased to hear that!

As for the products, IMO I do not think people need to spend big $$$ to get great results. For those who talked to people outside this country, Meguiar's products go for big $$$ and are dying to try them out so go fig.

I did the same process on my SS too. My buddy told me after glazed it, tech 2.0'd it, and yellow 26'd it that the yellow took the tech 2.0 off because the tech is synthetic and the #26 is carnauba-based. He said the carnauba was more aggressive and it would pull the tech out. Either way, that WS6 came out nice and mine did too, lol.

Actually its the other way around. The Tech Rubs off the #26. When I get to the #26 Layer. I put it on, let it harden and it wipes off clean. No hard buffing.

NXT requires elbow grease and thats what rips out the underlayer wax.
