Since I have a z28 I would choose the wheels, because their bigger, wider and chrome

Go for the wheels!! If you want a Ram Air hood, should've gotten a T/A, correct??

Get the wheels first bro, I ran into the same predicament a year ago. It was either my ram air hood (TA) or rims. I got the hood first and it looked whack with the stock 16 in silver rims. Now I got polished AFS ZR1s (315s in back) and they are sweet!

Rims will make or break a car at a show, they define the personality of the car. Slap those 18 in Zo6s on there and be done with it. Make sure your car has the right stance too, I know if you lower it your dragstrip performance will suffer though. Unless you get HALs. I like a car that can take a riceboy into a turn and spit him out. I dont frequent the dragstip anyway so my car is slammed! .95gs lateral acceleration (G tech pro)

Not trying to influence your decision so you buy my hood but if you are going to do wheels don't do the Z06's. They are becoming way too common. If you don't mind waiting have someone like Boyd Coddington or Billet Specialties make one of their patterns into something that fits or if you have the money to HRE's or Fikses. Like someone said wheels really influence a car a lot and if you put stock Corvette rims on your car it just seems "common". My opinion of course but wheels are a must on these cars at some point. I did an SS hood on my Z first a few years back and didn't regret it even though it looked like an SS with Z wheels. Also if you don't want to run drag radials larger diameter rims do look sweet
