GTO FRC's - Pics Inside
My buddy pulled of a GTO FRC while at the Detroit Auto Show to the dismay of the staff I might add. I snapped a pic because I thought I recalled some people in this forum asking about fitment on fbodies.
Here's a few pics...
*Not dial-up friendly*
The last pic is of the LS1 display model sans one FRC. A staff member thought we were trying to steal it.

They will fit from what I could tell.

He meant he took it off for the pics, not that he stole it, see in the last line he said someone "thought" they were trying to steal it. Plus its off one of the fake motors they use for display. I did the same thing during media days, I took them both off and played with them!

Was that motor a plastic model? It looked like it was all one piece, maybee cuz everthing was the saame color silver. Could that be why they would not work. Just a thought

Nope, it wasn't plastic. It was all seized up and the TB and exhaust manifolds had plastic covering the openings. I don't believe it was a real motor (internally)...just a show piece.

YIKES!!! Those things are hidious!
I have never been much of a fan of any FRCs, but jeebus, those are nasty.
I like to see the engine, not a plastic cover. I hate this (relatively) new trend that is FRCs.
