2 Questions on SS's
 

1. Ok what's the best replica SS hood, the one that is closest to OEM?

2. I was looking at Sun Coast Creations and you can order the hood with the airbox kit to. Is this like a OEM SS airbox kit or is the OEM SS airbox exactly like a z28 airbox?

Thanks ya. The reason for this is because i might just buy a z28 instead of a SS, but who knows.

Yeah before i moved to my moms my father bought me a 2002 z28 and i was paying for it, but me and him had alot of problems, physical and mental, so i ran away from him to my moms, then he traded my z28 in, and i already payed a 3000 down payment and about 7 months of car payments, around $2870, yeah it sucks but now i am looking at a 1999 Hugger Orange SS, its a M6 but i really want a A4, also theres another hugger orange ss A4 but it has 60,000 miles, when do this cars typically start having problems (at what mileage)?

If I bought a Z28, I wouldn't try to make it look like an SS, I'd want it to look more unique. SLP makes the Ultra Z hood which is REALLY nice looking, very aggressive and provides a direct air flow into the intake.

Wait till VFN makes the John Moss hood, check the thread that reads "VFN 4" WS6 hood update (& 4" SS hood"

Yeah, the ultra z hood is ugly IMO. I used to love it but nowsdays i hate it. I jsut ove the OEM SS look, but hwo knows when this vfn ss hood comes around i might take a look at it. If its anything like the vfn ws-6 hood then IM GETTING IT! Hopefully it follows the curves of the car.

But back to my questions please, any answers?

That's cool. I am going to get my car sometime this week, and i already got some of my mods at my house, and some more on the way. I can't wait, because my best friend has a 95 Trans Am, he is getting the conversion kit for it, so he is going to have his black ta with silver accents and silver stripes, then i am going to have m black Z28 with my SS conversion, with Silver accents and the ss scoop silver, Pretty soon when i get my sign business started up, i am going to start working on making camaro and transam decals and etc. I like alot of the work at 3rdgendecals.com, that's what I am going to do. I will have pics up as soon as I get my car with my exhuast (going to be polished) done to.
