3057 size SMDs for the main bulbs and 194 size SMDs for the corners bulbs. SMDs are brighter than standard leds. You will also need resistors or an electronic flasher I believe (I prefer resistors).

Go with the electronic flasher instead of the resistors. It's preferred to use the flasher than resistors. Plus you have to splice into your factory wiring with resistors.
168 bulbs are a little brighter than the 194's. You could also go with 3457 for the bigger bulbs. They are brighter than the stock 3157 bulbs. Sylvania offers the silverstar bulb in 3457. It's gives off an amber color when on. I use this bulb on all of my cars. I am assuming that you wish to stay with the amber color. This gives yo an idea of which bulbs I am referring to.

For LEDs check out autolumination. They have a good selection of LED bulbs and offer the flasher module.

So what would i need to do buy is a flasher module and the led bulbs if i wanted to go with the led. but if i just wanna try out those different bulb you told me about i wouldn't have to get a flasher module would i or do i need one for those bulb to.

Would using the silverstar 3457 look good in the smoke black front coners. This is what my car looks like from the front. will those bulb work. And look bright and look like the camaro do with the amber look you know when you have the stock coners in them or should i use the LEDs in there.

^^NOTHING is going to be super bright in those corner lights because the housing is black, so basically there is no reflective chrome to disperse more light.
Get some STOCK corner lights and either spray them black with VHT or cover them with vinyl tint.

I have my stock corners back in but this is what the bulbs looked like when I had the black corners with the rear chrome relector.

Stock lights blacked-out, but with no lights on. These are probably the best option for more light because they have chrome on the inside and frosted lenses.
Stock seems to light up best.
I used to have the ones that Guz posted, but I swapped them out for some slightly tinted clear corners that produce a bit more light. Here are some old pics of the same ones Guz posted. They are very nice lights that do not leak, and as you can see are much brighter than what you currently have.

I think you will be disappointed regardless of bulb type if you keep your current DRLs....
