Has anyone ever done this or have any information about it...? any help would be awesome..

It takes quite a bit of time, money, and parts to achieve this conversion. You'll have to buy a ton of parts, (headlight assemblies, hood, fenders, bumper, etc...) and in the long run, it's almost more cost-effective to just purchase an LS1 car. However, if you must do this, there are threads that tell you what you'll need to know.

I just bought a 98 TA parts car that was hit in the back that has a complete front end I would sell you...I am in north AL. Everything is there...I would do $400 on it.
