might relocate coils. please come in
so I'm getting a new set of those same tall valve covers. the company is sending me a new set.this time i hope everything works out great. I'm also thinking about relocating the coils. can someone guide me on where to relocate them to make them look clean and where to get wires that work with this set up. i was told nasty performance carries wires and that i can make my own home depot brackets. has anyone gone this route? pics would be appreciated. thanks!

Well, theres the nasty setup w the coils under the cowl.. i believe merv (sorry if it was another of you overtalented folks) was making his own, but didnt really have time to make to order. Could definitely use that design as it seemed to be a better mounting option, however im partial to the relocs that put the packs right above the valve cover, closer to the manifold.
If it helps any, on my old lt1 ltcc setup the coils were actually down on the radiator shroud. Plenty of places, just need some time to figure out where fits best.

Check this thread and look under post #20 to see how I did mine. Did mine for under $100, and that was including MSD wires, precut and everything with a LIFETIME warranty.
