High-Beams won't turn off
 

I recently took the LS1 front end off my car and put the LT1 front back on. However, after the swap my high beams will not turn off.

Is there something that could have happened during the swap, or do I simply need to replace something in the steering column? If so, what needs to be changed?

there is a metal rod that goes from the turn signal stalk down the column that presses a switch you have to remove the botom dash piece by your knees and its right there but i will warn you its a bitch to work on lol
