Ivan's BRR Camaro SS

Prop's to Ivan (desertLS1 on here), lots of history and work behind his car, and he daily drives the crap out of it all while keeping it clean as hell. Without a doubt it is one of the cleanest cars I have ever shot. Enjoy!

more of a photography thread, so i'll critique it as such...

clean, crisp shots, and good use of natural light. and i like the processing, nice tones, rich color.

my only issues... angles, angles, angles! got me turning my head back and forth. and some of the compositions/crops could be better, IMO. Location is hurting a few of the shots (#1+3). the tree reflections are a little distracting in some off them, and the vignette in the last shot isn't really doing anything to enhance the image, it looks out of place.

good stuff though. and as always, the car looks great.

Thanks for the feedback. Honestly I had to switch locations at the last minute so this isn't quite the shoot I had planned. No cropping was used on any photo, and I'll admit I had to angle the photos a lot to try and avoid things/people I didn't want in the frame, but also to get things in the frame that I wanted that otherwise wouldn't have been. Only had my 50mm prime with me this time, and with a wider lens I could have gotten much more with far less angle. Hopefully soon I will have a 10-24mm and wont have to resort to such extreme measures. Always a learning experience.

I've seen your car in your signature and never quite knew if i liked the wheels or not, but now that i see full sized pictures in good detail, i'd have to say they flow great with the car! Awesome pictures as well

have you ever tryed shooting in HDR? i think that makes for the most dramatic pictures. there is a cheat software you can buy that allows you to shoot in .rar format and the software turns it into a HDR without all the exposure adjusting needed on a normal shoot
